Meet the Shaper Crew of Sölden – a group of characters who turn early mornings, long shovel sessions, and bad weather into good lines, good laughs, and even better memories.
ELLEN
Our boss, project manager, and the unofficial mum of the whole crew. She’s the heart of the team – connecting us with management and keeping everything running smoothly. Always on the move, checking areas, solving problems, and handing out extra tasks. But we all know her real priority is a happy, motivated team and well-executed projects. And when everything runs smoothly? She’s probably out there sending crazy drops in big-mountain freeride terrain.
MALTE
Project manager of our Playground who somehow always ends up in the snowpark, saving the crew when things get wild. He has the most ride days, endless energy, and a never-ending “let’s go again” attitude. After catching waves in Australia, this German decided to swap the ocean for the mountains once again. In Sölden, he loves the most beautiful views and, of course, the crew.
RAFFAELE
Our park designer from Italy, probably spending his summers searching for waves somewhere in Europe. New in Sölden after coming from Planai, he’s always focused on making sure the park looks clean, rides well, and feels right. His favourite things here are the nice crew, good vibes, and those calm early-morning views before the lifts start spinning.
JAKUB
Four years in Sölden and our head shaper. Always wishing for new ideas, better setups, and enough snow to build properly. He loves Sölden because the park sits high enough to work every season, and because people keep coming back year after year. When he’s not shaping, you’ll find him in the gym – or reading, hiking, and enjoying some time alone to reset and get inspired again.
ELIŠKA
Our multimedia shaper and surfer who lives between ocean and snow seasons. She loves her people, good parties, and pretty much every outdoor sport you can think of. She always brings extra energy to the team – and while she’s not all about brute shovel power, she more than makes up for it with motivation and stoke. She loves Sölden for its nature, the mix of busy and calm days, and how perfectly sports connect here, even in summer.
FINLEY
UK guy who lives for snowboarding and switches to rock climbing, skating, and raves during the summer. In Sölden, his perfect day includes Leberkäse at Giggijoch, sunny park laps, and riding until his legs give up.
DIRK
Three years in Sölden and staying through the summer as well. One of the more experienced shapers, always into good music, cycling, and climbing mountains. What he loves most about Sölden? Of course riding the park, the locals, and live music at the Live Bar after a long day.
ŠTĚPÁN
Three strip clubs plus Eliška in a tiny mountain town? That already explains why Sölden works so well for Štěpán. Always chasing adrenaline, pushing the crew into crazy ideas, cracking jokes, and loving every kind of sport and a good party.
LUIS
Another German who joined the team at exactly the right moment and basically saved us. Loves surfing and skating, spent some time in Australia, then wasn’t quite sure where life was going – until the mountains called him back to the crew. He likes Sölden for its size, the endless options, and long, rewarding laps.
CLADIO
Straight out of Italy with a passion for breakdance, pasta, and snowboarding. In Sölden, he enjoys the nightlife, the shaper crew, the James Bond Museum, and the tight snowpark community. Super creative, always coming up with the most random questions, and bringing a good mood and loads of energy every single day.
LUKAS
Originally from Lithuania, Lukas loves nature, mountains, skiing, and all kinds of outdoor sports – with running being his biggest passion. He likes this job for the freedom it gives and the chance to spend his days surrounded by mountains, working with an amazing crew.
MELVIN
Our newest shaper from Belgium. Always happy to run, hang out, and spend time with people. What he loves about Sölden is the mountains and views, wide slopes and no T-bars.
Big thanks to our bully drivers – especially Leo and Leon. Without their work, patience, and endless hours on the machines, the park would never be what it is.
The park still gets ready even without bluebird days – through long commutes, freezing late-night build-ups, and looks from (some) lifties who think we’re doing nothing at all.
On days like that, this crew is still here – showing up, working together, and making it happen. Because in the end, we’re all here for the same reason: we love snowboarding, freeskiing, and life in the mountains.
