Park Designer Joshua Hein is seemingly more relaxed after his park is shining in full bloom. The crew put in so many hours of digging and raking, yet they still have big plans. After setting up the massive GoPro Multi-Jib and the giant double-kink rail, another milestone is in the books. But there’s still one thing sticking out – the third knuckle of the Advanced Line. “We’re planning a creative end section with some jibs there, once the weather cools down a bit and we receive more snowfall.” says Josh.
Until then you can play around with all the other obstacles in the park. Or you could step up your park game and receive some valuable freestyle insights. AREA 47 Snowpark Sölden’s personal freestyle coach Julius Schneider comes up to the park once a week and is happy to help fellow shred bros and park sisters. He shows you the basics of freestyle or tells you how to spin corks or flips. Sounds like a deal? Then meet him at the park’s chill area every Thursday at 1pm. Participation is of course for free, all levels welcome!
As mentioned before, the weather’s been incredible the last days and weeks. In these conditions, a rad pair of goggles is king. Lucky you! We have one pair of Oakley goggles lined up for one of you shred heads out there. So, take part in our raffle and #pray
How to take part? Eeeeeeeeeeeaaaasy!
We announce the winner on March 1, 2019. Best of luck!
