Who are those people who voluntarily spend all day outside in the snow at freezing temperatures? Lunatics? Maybe, but first and foremost they are the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden Shape Crew! Every day, they are working like and with machines to maintain the high quality of the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden!

Hard manual labor, early working hours and freezing temperatures - Not exactly a dream job, one could assume. But there is a special breed of people who absolutely enjoy all this: the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden Shape Crew! Have you ever wondered what these people are and look like when they are not covered in facemasks? Actually, they are very nice! Check it out:

Firstly, there is Christoph Schöpf, the park designer. Born and practically raised in Sölden’s snow, it’s no surprise that he eventually became one of the key figures of the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden! As a passionate snowboarder, he sure knows what he’s doing! His aim is to create a perfect playground for all freestylers Home sweet home, that’s what it is to him.

Our girl Adriana Olech claims that she really had no other choice than to come to Sölden! This is quite understandable considering the fact for such a committed snowboarder and successful contest rider as Ada, the snow conditions in Poland truly are no match in the long run! We’re glad to have her!

Shaper Demis Lotter, has been a snowboarder for ages now! He loves this sport and he also loves the mountains in Sölden! He, too, is eager to create a park that lives up to his own expectations! Thus, a high quality Snowpark is the logical result!

Since he was 9 years old, Jannis Lampert is a snowboarder to the core! Our man from Karlsruhe is in Sölden just for the fun of it but he’s also doing a great job! He’s also got some interesting facts about sausages – if you meet him, he’ll be happy explain it to you!

Merlin Hirsch’s job by his own account is, besides wielding the shovel, also to ram away the tourists. This rather extreme care for the freestyle playground truly explains his attitude towards snowboarding! He loves it and will do everything in his power to provide an excellent Snowpark for true freestylers!

Last but not least, there’s the machine head, Marco Kuprian, who’s maneuvering the snowcat to prepare the ground for massive freestyle action! He’s the only freeskier among these guys, but there’s no reason to assume that he’s using the big snowcat to compensate for something – He sure knows how to handle those skis!

As you can see, the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden is in very good hands! Big Props to you guys and thanks for braving the weather every day to maintain the high quality of this unique Snowpark!
