Fresh Fresh Fresh – Early powder birds!

First of all, the masses of snow so early in the season help us setting up the park more quickly. Also the snow cannons are running on full power and they will do so at least for one more week. Then, the shapecrew Soelden around Rudi will have enough snow for pushing together the first kickers of the Swatch Snowpark Soelden 2010/11. At the moment they are starting to fix up all the elements and obstacles which in course of the season you will find in our park.

But there’s no time to lose now! The conditions are perfect presently for all you powder hunters: with already about the half of the lifts running in the winter resorts and 80 percent on the glacier, there’s now 95km of slopes and heaps of fluffy backcountry runs available. Up on the mountain we have presently 160cm of snow and on the Giggijoch there are still 80cm, so the stage is ready to play! All the detailed weather you can find here.

Here’s what our local park hero Rudi on the spot has to say: “I can’t even really remember having so much snow at the beginning of December! The conditions for the time of the year are extremely sick. We already had a few awesome runs out there and got fully stoked!”
