It was our pleasure to introduce most the likeable Austrian Alpine herbs lemonade as our new main partner in Sölden – it was the dawn of the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden. Mother Hulda kept us in suspense for a while but then the white gold finally arrived. And it was an amazing start of the season, when park designer Christoph Schöpf and his crew called for the first session shooting by QParks.

Having thoroughly tested the massive setup, it didn’t take long until the first of 2 Almdudler Public Shootings was under way. Here, all riders got the chance to add some amazing action shots by a professional media crew to his personal best-of album. As topping, after each of the two shootings, there was a year’s supply of Almdudler for the win at the Best Shot Votings on the new Almdudler Snowpark Sölden Facebook Fanpage.

On February 11^th, a handful of committed freeski young-guns were in for a special treat. At the Oakley Talent Day in the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden, Oakley Team Rider Luggi Brucic visited the park for a pro coaching lesson. The kids were stoked and after an exciting day with the pro, they were even handed some brand-new Oakley T-Shirts and Oakley goggles. Plus, we raffled an Oakley hoodie in the “Vote for your Oakley Talent” Facebook Voting on our Facebook Fanpage!   

In March, it got even fizzier than before! At the Almdudler Freestyle Feast vol. 7 on March 10^th, a great number of riders gathered at the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden to celebrate our beloved freestyle spirit properly. Bluebird, a nice BBQ, tasty Almdudler and fresh tunes provided the perfect framework for an action-packed day. At the extended “Goodies for Trix” session, tons of goodies from Almdudler, Nitro and Moreboards were handed out to the motivated freeskiers and snowboarders. It was a perfect day!

The biggest prize this year, however, was to be creamed off in our big Almdudler Freestyle Gaudi photo competition - EUR 1.000,- CASH for one picture! After more than one month and a thrilling battle in the final Facebook Voting on our Fanpage, it was Isabella Seifert who managed to collect the most votes for her shot and consequently cash up big!

Even though the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden managed to keep its gates open longer than most European parks, spring eventually prevailed. Therefore, it is time for us to send the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden on summer vacation. Thank you all for visiting the park this season and a special thanks to park designer Christoph Schöpf and his crew for their tireless effort throughout the season! Also, thanks to Almdudler for making this amazing park possible!
