A short look at the rough figures of this year’s media kicker(s) might give you an idea what effort it took to make this monster project happen: a crew of around 10 people, 100 hours of pushing together snow with the snow-cat only for the landings, 4 full days of shaping the take-offs (plus 5 days of bad weather), landing areas of 20 to 50 meters and the major kicker having a table of 24 meters which has to be conquered.

Asking the mastermind behind the Incredible Project how such monsters come into being, park-designer Rudi Wyhlidal said: “Well, in the beginning we only found the spot and thought that this might be the place for something really big. So Alex Fischer and I, we started out designing the landings and soon realized that this spot has the potential for something that now can only be called incredible. The take-offs and pipes were only thought off after the landings were done, trying this or that until the setup was complete. I’m very happy now that it’s done and can’t wait to see it in action”.

At the moment, the first dauntless riders are checking out the new multiple monster obstacle. Chris Kroell, Michi Stanschitz, Herby Thaler and Phips Gruber will be among the first, and hopefully lucky ones to go over this set of kickers and pipes. What should be mentioned of course is, that the Incredible Project is reserved exclusively for media crews and their pro riders and the breath-taking pictures will remain secret until autumn. But in case you want to see some stunning freestyle action live and see the pro’s hitting the most spectacular obstacle there is at the moment, then now there’s the chance to at the Gigijoch Silberbründllift!
