While the Sölden area is in urgent need of snow, Rudi Wyhlidal has finished his park this week! Every single obstacle and all lines are now standing ready for you guys!
Rudi, how is the snow-situation in Sölden?
Well, bad enough! Looks like there's still no snowfall for us in Sölden. However, the park stands perfect due to the perfect location within the area. But the backcountry is really crying for powder!
How does it feel to have the park finished as one of the first in the Alps?
Damned fine, honestly :) I'm really happy to have it finished at last, however, it's not like a skatepark. In a snowpark, there's always loads to do and you can only call it finished, when the rails are back in our storage for summer.
Why is it so much tougher for other parks in Austria to get finished? What did you do differently?
It was also tough for us until this moment. We are just a perfect team and everybody worked like mad. But without the snowcannons and the low temperature it would have been impossible of course. I think alos other teams could make it if they had these possibilities!
How was the shooting with Benny Deeg and Max?
We had great fun but also it was very professional. I met Max for the first time but he really stepped into it, and Benny I already know since summercamp-times, where he was shaper back then. Since then we are godd friends and I really was looking forward to shooting with him. It was as cool as expected!
What are the next plans or will you have a little break after the hard work?
First, I need a little pause, where I also will get some dust off the camera. Hopefully, there'll be a little snow for decent powder-sessions soon and afterwards, we'll get to the special obstacles.
Thanks to Rudi and have a good time with the crew!
We have added even more pics to our recent galleries, and you should definitely check out the newest Gallery with awesome pics of the awesome Park with ALL obstacles and the finished pro-line!
