For freestylers it’s a notorious pain in the neck: The boots still soaking wet from the last shredventure, weather forecasts again promise best conditions for a sick day in the snow! You set out euphorically, bursting with anticipation to plowing the finest powder or hitting the perfect snowpark. But as soon as you’ve reached the top, your limbs are already deep-frozen, thanks to the mobile footbath you’re wearing around your ankles. No wonder the motivation for sipping ‘Jagatea’ or mulled wine is way bigger than delivering hard action on the board with chattering teeth. But how else can you keep yourself warm if you’re not even into perky 90’s-style aerobics warm-up?

Numerous freeskiers and snowboarders took their chance to showcase their skills in front of the camera. The result speaks for itself – great pictures, congenial clip! At the first of the two Oakley Talent Days on February 11, 2012, you can shred a whole day with Oakley freeski team rider Luggi Brucic in the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden and surely learn quite a few tricks from him! Whilst spring is slowly moving into the valleys and the first flowers are rising from their winter slumbers, there’s nothing of such sort happening in Soelden. On the contrary: Rudi and his team have moulded a new monster from the grounds around the Gigijoch and today will be the day to deflower it decently! Presently, the first riders are coming in to take a first glance at the "Incredible Project" 2011, an unprecedented assembly of kickers and pipes which may top everything Soelden has ever seen.

A perfect bluebird day, an awesome park, two professional riders and heaps of shredding were the components for a wicket shooting session in the Swatch Snowpark Soelden. Rasmus Dalberg Jørgensen and Moreboards Rider Mario Wanger went for the Pro Area after park designer Rudi had briefed them on what they should destroy! (S)Watch out folks, explicit content!
