The snow cannons are running in full gear, and while we’re still waiting for the right conditions to open up the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden, a first small but fine setup will be ready tomorrow! As a Christmas present to you, Christoph Schöpf and his crew will provide some boxes next to the Giggijoch lift. First shred session, here we go!

The winter is finally coming. Many pistes have already been opened and we are optimistic that the Snowpark Sölden will be ready soon, too! If the weather Gods work with us and the snow conditions improve, we might be able to open the first setup by Christmas. Let’s pray for more of that white splendor!

The foundations for EUPHORIA have been laid at the beginning of last winter in the Zillertal. A bunch of film enthusiasts bore the idea to realize a well-produced film, which could awaken the appetite to go snowboarding even without triple corks and 40 step rails. Such projects require the cooperation with park operators such as QParks and when it is done right, such collaborations are of advantage for both sides. The Snowpark Sölden has been chosen to play a major part in EUPHORIA. It’s time for a brief review!

The new winter season is getting closer and the Snowpark Sölden will soon return with a modified setup! Time for us to get back to you with our park updates! In the season 2011/2012, the renowned playground will regain its rightful place amongst Europe’s top snowparks and offer new challenges to the international freestyle community!

Another season for the Swatch Snowpark Soelden has ended. On April 27th, the forces of spring had finally overwhelmed winter and hence it’s time now to take a look back to a thrilling season of spectacular freestyle action. Early powder birds, a Christmas opening, pro riders on a sick pro line, shootings, raffles and events. Everything a true shred-heart desires was to be found in the Swatch Snowpark Soelden in 2010/11. Read on and dive with us again into sweet remembrances of an amazing season.

Whilst spring is slowly moving into the valleys and the first flowers are rising from their winter slumbers, there’s nothing of such sort happening in Soelden. On the contrary: Rudi and his team have moulded a new monster from the grounds around the Gigijoch and today will be the day to deflower it decently! Presently, the first riders are coming in to take a first glance at the "Incredible Project" 2011, an unprecedented assembly of kickers and pipes which may top everything Soelden has ever seen.

Everyone who’s been to Soelden once, knows what the resort stands for: a guarantee for snow, a sick Swatch Snowpark Soelden and sheer endless backcountry opportunities. Three guys from Slovenia couldn’t resist the call of the BIG 3s and the freeride paradise they offer: bumps, slabs, gullies, rocks … whatever a freerider’s heart desires, Bine Zaholar, Matevz Pristavec and Mitja Legat found it there.

The sixth Freestyle Feast passed off at splendid weather conditions and made more people than ever pilgrim from all directions towards the Swatch Snowpark Sölden in order to celebrate our beloved freestyle! Live guitar accompanied by rap sounds, an evershining sun and stylish action on one and two boards were predominating the undisputed most relaxed scene come-together of the Ötztal valley.

Tomorrow, on the 5th of March, the Swatch Snowpark Sölden will once again celebrate the Freestyle Feast 2011! Freshly reshaped, Rudi and his team dandified the park for the most chilled out freestyle get together of the season. Of course, there’ll be a speaker, a DJ and everything else it takes for a kick-ass freestyle session!
